• Youは何しに日本へ：
  正直、5歳くらいから日本に来たいと思っていて、2年前に交換留学で東京に住み始めた。マジで楽しくてたくさんの素晴らしい人に出会ったし、日本語を勉強するのが好きになって、スケートシーンでもたくさんの素晴らしいコネクションができた。日本は自分のパッションを追求できる場所だと感じた。
• 日本スケートシーンのいいところ：
  みんなフレンドリーで温かい。だから仲間が増えやすい。あとみんなヤバい！
• 日本スケートシーンの良くないところ：
  すぐにキックアウトされること！　ストリートスケートは大変！
• 理解できない日本の文化：
  血液型で性格を判断するところ。

• Palette撮影裏話：
  撮影の締め切りまであまり時間がなくてやりたいビッグトリックがふたつあった。まず15段のステアの真ん中にバンクがあるスポットに行って、ネギソラがヒールフリップを、僕がトレフリップを決めた。そしてその夜にジョシュアとふたりで新宿に行って駅前の特大ハバでどうにかドロップインをメイク。
  この2トリックを同じ日にメイクした後は疲労困憊だったけどアドレナリンが出まくっていたからジョシュアとビールを1杯、2杯、3杯…さらにジョシュアの仲間が渋谷のHarlemに行くと言い出して…。結局一晩中Harlemで遊んで、仲間のホテルに泊まって、汗と泥と血にまみれた格好のままベビーシッターの仕事へ。あれはクレイジーな1日だった。

  炊飯器、つけ麺, キューピー深煎りごまドレッシング、セブンイレブンのATMのボタンを押す感触、駒沢のミニランプ。
• 日本でのカルチャーショック：
  初ストリートで1日5回も通報されたこと。
• 日本での最大の恐怖：
  ストリートスケートで強制送還。
• 今住んでいる部屋の評価：
  正直、今の家には満足している。装飾したり家具を揃えたりしたから居心地がいい。住む場所は重要だから時間を注いで好きにならないと！

  駒沢。

  ファミマ。
• スケート以外の趣味：
  ピアノ、ギター、ヨガ、DJ、日本語の勉強、読書、スケートビデオ鑑賞、チェス、音楽鑑賞、ダンス、料理、友達と遊ぶ、新しい人と会う、牛丼を食べるなどなど。
• 最近の後悔：
  後悔はしないようにしている。だって悪い決断から学べることがあるし、その結果今の自分があるわけだから。単なる旅の一部でしかない。
• イギリスが恋しくなる瞬間：
  楽しいスポットでチルなストリートセッションをしたいのに、5分もしたら警察を呼ばれるとき。
• EU離脱の影響：
  Brexitはひどいもので、イギリスの政治に混乱を引き起こし時間を無駄にしたから最悪だった。さらにイギリスとヨーロッパ諸国がより分裂する結果を招いた。明るい未来への鍵は、すべての国がより団結することにあると信じている。これは本当に間違った方向への一歩だったと思う。
• おすすめのイギリス料理：
  日曜日に家族でフルローストディナー！　ローストチキン、ローストポテト、ロースト野菜、スタッフィング、ヨークシャープディング、芽キャベツ、そしてたっぷりのグレービーソース！
• トライしたい食べ物：
  和牛。今は無理だけどいつの日か！
• 最近ブチ上がったこと：
  Ferrisの"Palette"の試写会はマジで特別だった。みんなブチ上がって、ホーミーたちと完成品を観られてヤバかった。次回はもっと大きなプロジェクトになる。
• 最近ブチ下がったこと：
  新しい仕事を見つけたいけどできるだけスケートもしたい。今はベビーシッター／英会話講師みたいな仕事をしていて、稼ぎもいいしスケートする時間もたくさんあるけど、この仕事では人間的に成長できない。日本語も上達しないし、仕事とスケートのバランスを取るのが本当に難しい。でもまあ、贅沢は言えないけど。
• 女性専用車両への個人的見解：
  理論的にはいいアイデアだと思うけど、根本的な問題は解決しないと思う。問題の主な原因は、女性を尊重しない男ども。この姿勢に対処する必要がある。また日本には現実離れした美の基準とか、女性が直面する大きな問題があってそれが解決されていないと思う。でもどの国にも問題はあるから、解決策を見出そうとするのはいいことだと思う。
• 生きていてよかったと思うとき：
  ストリートで仲間と一緒にスケートをして、楽しいスポットをヒットして探索しているときが一番幸せ。あと渋谷で一晩中踊って、朝6時に渋谷から自転車で帰宅中にきれいな朝日が昇っていて、静かで平和を感じるとき。
• 明日の予定：
  起きて、漢字の勉強をして、ヨガをして、スケートして、仲間の家でご飯を食べながらそいつの誕生日を祝って、渋谷で冒険。最高でしょ。

• Cultural shock in Japan:
  Getting the police called on us five times in a day the first time we went street skating.
• Best thing about the Japanese skate scene:
  Everyone is super friendly and very welcoming, so it’s easy to connect with people and make friends. Also everyone is so sick!!!
• Worst thing about the Japanese skate scene:
  Always getting kicked out!! Skating street is tough!!
• Best wife beater:

• Impact of England leaving the EU:
  Brexit was terrible, it caused so much confusion and wasted time in British politics and has resulted in the UK and Europe being more divided. I believe the key to a successful future lies in all countries becoming more united so this was really a step in the wrong direction.
• Recommended British cuisine:
  A full roast dinner on a Sunday with the family! Roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast vegetables, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, Brussels sprouts and lots of gravy!
• Behind the scenes story from the Palette video:
  So, we didn’t have much time before the deadline for filming, and I still had two big tricks that I wanted to do. In one day we first went and skated the 15 stair with the bank in the middle and Sora Negishi got the Heelflip and I got the tre flip. Then in the evening me and Joshua Nishimiya went on a two man mission to Shinjuku where I somehow managed to ride down that big hubba out of the front of the station. After landing both those tricks in the same day my body was so tired but my adrenaline was super high so me and Joshua went for a beer, then we had two beers, then three, then his friend told him he was going to Harlem club in Shibuya and so we ended up going to Harlem all night, stayed in his friends hotel room and then I went straight to my job as a babysitter the next day with my clothes covered in sweat, dirt and blood. It was a crazy day.
• Best way to survive super humid summer in Japan:
  Put on a tank top, always bring at least 3 spare shirts on the session, and try not to complain, because although it’s hot, at least it’s not raining.

• Reason for coming to Japan:
  I have honestly known since I was about 5 years old that I wanted to come to Japan, so because of that I did an exchange year living in Tokyo two years ago. That year was just so much fun, I met so many great people, fell in love with learning Japanese, and made loads of great connections in the skate scene so I felt like Japan was somewhere I could really pursue my passions.
• Japanese culture you don't understand:
  Predicting personalities based on blood types.
• Favorite Japanese word:
  ワクワク
• Pub or izakaya:
  Izakaya! High balls all the way (I do love the pub though).
• Thing that got you stoked recently:
  The video premiere for the Ferris Palette video was really something special, everyone was super hyped and it was so sick watching the final project with all the homies! The next one is gonna be even bigger.
• Thing that turned you down recently:
  Honestly I really want to find a new job but I also want to skate as much as possible, at the moment I’m like a babysitter/English teacher which is good money and allows me to have a lot of time to skate but I’m really not growing as a person in this job and can’t improve my Japanese doing it so it’s really difficult finding the balance between work and skating. It’s all good though, I don’t want to complain.
• Your personal view on women-only passenger cars:
  I think it is a good idea in theory, but it is a solution that doesn’t really confront the root of the problem. The main cause of the problem is men who don’t respect women and this attitude needs to be addressed. I also think there are bigger problems that women face in Japan that aren’t being addressed like unrealistic beauty standards etc. Every country has their problems though so it’s good that solutions are trying to be found.
• Thing that you feel is next level:
  Rice cookers, つけ麺, キューピーdeep roasted sesame salad dressing, the feeling when you press the buttons on a Seven-Eleven ATM, the Komazawa mini-ramp.
• Worst fear in Japan:
  Getting deported for skating street.
• Evaluation of the room you're currently living in:
  I’ll be honest I love my room right now, I put a lot of time into decorating it and buying all the furniture so it’s a super nice place to be. The room you live in is an important space so you gotta invest time and love into it!
• Local spot:
  Komazawa Skatepark.
• Favorite convenience store:
  Family Mart.
• Food you want to try:
  Wagyu Beef, I can’t afford it right now but one day I will!
• Last regret:
  I don’t really believe in regret because bad decisions are just something you can learn from and if they got you to where you are now then it was just part of the journey.
• Thing to do besides skating:
  Play piano, play guitar, yoga, DJ, study Japanese, read, watch skate videos, play chess, listen to music, go dancing, cook, hang out with friends, meet new people, eat 牛丼 etc.
• Moment when you miss England:
  When you just want to have a chill street session at a fun spot but you can’t because the police get called in five minutes.
• When you feel happy that you're alive:
  Just being out in the streets skating with the homies, hitting fun spots and exploring, that’s when I’m at my happiest. Also, when I’m cycling back from Shibuya at 6am, there’s a beautiful sunrise, I’ve danced all night, it’s quiet and peaceful, life is good.
• Plans for tomorrow:
  Wake up, study Kanji, do yoga, go skate, have dinner at my friend's place for his birthday, then go to Shibuya for an adventure. Nice.
