• スケート始めたきっかけ：
  父親がクリスマスプレゼントにオレと弟にスケートボードを買ってくれた。すぐに夢中になってそれ以来ハマっている。
• 影響を受けたスケーター：
  トム・ノックスの映像を観ることが多い。彼のスケーティングが一番心に響くのは、思いもよらないアプローチでつねにスポットを最大限に活用しているから。オレもそういうスケートが好きだから、彼の映像を観ながら新しいアイデアを探している。
• 生で見てヤバかったスケーター：
  タイソン・ピーターソンはマジでヤバかった。2019年にVans Showdownで初めて見たんだ。素晴らしいスケーターがたくさんいたけど、彼のスタイルが一番目立っていた。上手いのは前から知っていたけど、実際にスケートを見ると全然違った。
• 地元でおすすめの場所：
  スネ駅。オレがいつも滑っているレッジスポット。レッジもあるし、サイドにフラットレールがある完璧なダブルセットもある。思い切り攻めたければキンクのハバもある。チルするだけでもいい完璧なスポット。
• カルトパークで目撃したまさか：
  2019年頃に男がカッターナイフで手首を切ろうとしているのを見た。出血がひどかったので通報した。警官がカルトに着いたとき、男はカッターナイフを捨てようとしたけど結局見つかった。カルトはかなりスケッチーだね（笑）。
• ローカルスポット（レッジ天国の場所）での注意点：
  レッジはかなり滑るから上に乗るときは要注意。警官も時々現れるけどあまりスケーターを気にしないから問題ない。
• 韓国のセキュリティ事情：
  韓国のセキュリティはかなりチルだと思う。キックアウトされることもあるけど大したことはない。夜にまた戻って来れば大丈夫。
• Vansに加入した経緯：
  2019年にVansからシューズをもらうようになった。でも正確にはそれから1年ほどフロウだった。Vansのウェルカムビデオ“Soncarina”を撮影した2020年に正式にVans Koreaチームに加入した感じ。
• Vansの好きなシューズ：
  絶対にHalf Cab。ルックスも機能性も最高。クラシックには勝てない。
• 推しK-POP：
  CHS。正確にはK-POPではないけど音楽が素晴らしい。サイケデリックな音楽が好きならCHSを聴くべき。絶対に聴く価値がある。
• BESTキムチ：
  お気に入りのキムチのブランドはないかな。母親が作るキムチが一番ヤバい。
• BEST映画：
  映画はあまり観ない。でも子供の頃はスポンジボブを観るのが大好きだった。母がスポンジボブのDVDを全部買ってくれて何度も観た。それが英語を話すのが上手になった理由のひとつだと思う。
• 寒さ対策：
  外に出ない。時間の無駄。
• 気になっている日本人スケーター：
  星野大喜と守重琳央。大喜はいつも速攻でトリックを決めて簡単に魅せる。琳央は何時間かかっても諦めない。ふたりとも素晴らしいスケーターでありオレの友人でもある。
• 日本で行ってみたい場所：
  ずっと東京でストリートスケートをしたいと思っている。何度か行ったことはあるけど機会がなかった。でもほとんどのスポットで速攻キックアウトされるって聞いたけど。
• 滑ってみたい有名スポット：
  MACBA。 2019年に一度だけ行ったことがあるけど、そのときは前のスポットで気絶してしまって。MACBAに着いたときにはまったく滑ることができなかった。その日のことはあまり覚えていない。気絶して病院で目を覚ましたこととMACBAに着いたときに頭がめちゃくちゃ痛かったことだけは覚えている。またいつか行くことができたら滑りたいね。
• 尊敬する人：
  Hotmin（@hotminator）。今韓国でVX1000を使って撮影している唯一のフィルマー。彼ほど自分の仕事に夢中になっている人は見たことがない。だから一緒に撮影するのが大好きなんだ。いつも撮影に夢中でオレを励ましてくれる。
• スケート以外の趣味：
  最近ボクシングに挑戦している。父親は20年以上ボクシングをやっていて、ずっと勧められていたから一緒にやることにした。最初は乗り気じゃなかったけど、今ではほとんど毎日ジムに行くようにしている。ボクシングはスケートに似ていると思う。どちらも上達する唯一の方法は地道な努力。ボクシングもスケートも、そこが一番好きなところ。ズルはできない。最近は絵を描くのも楽しい。上手いとは言えないけど、テーマを考えたり実際に描いたりすることで心が落ち着いて集中できる。それもスケートに似ていると思う。
• 最高の旅：
  昨年“Heads up!”というビデオの撮影でマレーシアに1ヵ月間行った。あの旅は今まで行った中で最高だった。気が向いたときに起きて、プールに入ったり、スケートに行ったり、美味いものを食べたり、毎晩ポーカーをしたり。スケートトリップに行く国を探すなら、マレーシアがオススメ。
• 人生最大のやらかし：
  2019年に京都に行ったとき、10段か11段のハンドレールに目をつけていたから最終日にそこに行ったんだ。ボードスライドでテールを叩き損ねて顔着。かけていたメガネの破片が目の真上に刺さって自分で引き抜かなければならなかった。マジで痛かったから気絶できればよかった。韓国に戻るフライトの4時間前だったから救急病院で目を縫ってもらって空港まで走った。スケート中にメガネをかけちゃいけないってことを身をもって学んだよ。
• 人生を変えてくれた言葉：
  速いと食らう。
• 2024年の目標：
  特に目標はなし。ただ人生を精一杯生きて、その先どうなるか見てみたい。

• How you got into skating:
  My dad got both me and my brother skateboards as Christmas presents. We were immediately hooked on and been skating ever since.
• Unbelievable thing you witnessed at Cult Park:
  I saw a man trying to cut his wrist with a box cutter around 2019. He was bleeding like crazy so I called 911. When the officers got to Cult he tried to get rid of the box cutter but they found it eventually. Cult is pretty sketchy haha.
• Best Kimchi brand:
  I don’t think I know any Kimchi brands. The one my mom makes is fire though.
• Best way to get through the cold season:
  Stay inside. Not worth it.
• Japanese skaters you keep your eye on:
  Daiki Hoshino and Rio Morishige. Daiki always gets his tricks super quick and makes it look easy. Rio never gives up on his tricks no matter how many hours it takes. They are both great skaters and friends of mine.
• Words that changed your life:
  Go fast, eat shit.
• Things you need to watch out for at your local ledge spot:
  The ledges are pretty slick so you need to be careful when you get on top. Cops do show up sometimes but they don’t really care if you’re skating or not so they’re pretty chill.
• Best K-Pop artist:
  CHS. Not exactly K-Pop but they make great music. If you’re into psychedelic music you’ll love CHS. Definitely worth a listen.
• Security situation in Korea:
  Security here in Korea is pretty chill I guess. They do kick you out sometimes but they don’t make a huge deal out of it. And if you do get kicked out you can always go back at night time.
• Things you regret doing:
  There was a Kyoto skate trip back in 2019 that I went on. There was this ten or eleven stair handrail I had my eye on so we went there on the last day of our trip. I tried to do a boardslide but I missed my pop and smacked the living shit out of my face. I was wearing glasses at the time so a piece of the glasses broke off and got stuck right above my eye which I had to pull out myself. I kind of wish I got knocked out cause that shit hurt. That was like 4 hours before my flight back to Korea so we had to rush to the ER to get my eye stitched up then drive all the way to the airport to catch my flight. I guess you could say I learned I shouldn’t wear glasses while skating the hard way.
• Places you would like to visit in Japan:
  I’ve always wanted to go street skating in Tokyo. I’ve been there a few times before but I never got the chance to skate the streets. I did hear that you get kicked out instantly on most spots though.
• Best movie:
  I don’t watch a lot of movies actually. I used to love to watch Spongebob Squarepants as a kid though. My mom used to buy me all the Spongebob DVDs and I would watch them over and over again. I think that’s one of the reasons I got better at speaking english.
• Person you admire:
  Hotmin (@hotminator). He’s the only filmer who’s filming with the VX1000 in Korea right now. I’ve never seen anyone who’s more crazy about what they do than him. That’s why I love filming with him. He’s always down to film and he always hypes me up.
• Skaters who were amazing to watch live:
  Tyson Peterson was really sick to watch him skate. I saw him at the Vans showdown contest back in 2019. There were a lot of great skaters but he stood out to me the most because of his style. I knew he was good before but watching him skate in person was a totally different story.
• Skaters you get influenced by:
  I watch a lot of videos of Tom Knox. His skating speaks to me the most because he skates in an unexpected way and always uses the spot to its full potential. That’s the way I also like to skate so watching his videos gives me new ideas of how I should skate.
• How you got on Vans:
  I started to get shoes from Vans from 2019. I wasn’t exactly on the team for a year though. It wasn’t till 2020 when I filmed my Vans welcome video `Soncarina’ I officially got on the Vans Korea team.
• Favorite Vans shoe:
  Half Cabs for sure. They both look great and skate well. Can’t beat the classics.
• Famous skate spot you want to skate:
  Macba. I’ve been there once before in 2019 but I got knocked out cold on the spot before so I couldn’t really skate when we got to Macba. There’s not much I remember about that day actually. I just remember getting knocked out then waking up at the hospital and my head hurting like fuck when we got to Macba. It would be cool if I get to actually skate the spot the next time I get to go there.
• Recommended local places:
  Sunae station. That’s the ledge spot I always skate at. There’s so many different kinds of spots to skate there. There are the ledges then there’s a perfect double set with a flat rail on the side, there’s a kinked hubba if you want to try some gnarly tricks. It’s a perfect spot to just chill too.
• Hobbies other than skating:
  I’m trying out boxing nowadays. My dad has been boxing for over 20 years and he kept insisting me to try it so I decided to tag along. I was a little skeptical at first but now I try to go boxing almost everyday. I think boxing is similar to skating in a lot of ways. The only way to get better at both is by honest hard work. That’s the part I love the most about both boxing and skating. You can’t cheat. I also enjoy making drawings. I can’t say they’re really good but thinking about what I should make and actually making the drawing makes my mind calm and focused. I guess that’s kind of like skating too.
• Best trip:
  I went to Malaysia for a month to film for the video "Heads up!" last year. That trip has got to be one of the best ones I’ve ever been on. Waking up whenever we feel like, take a dip in the pool, go skate, eat good food and play poker every night. If you’re looking for a country to go on a skate trip, Malaysia is the place to go.
• Goals for 2024:
  I don’t have any goals this year. I just like to live life to the fullest and see how it goes.
