2000年代初頭にビデオカメラマンしている友人と一緒に遊んでいて、その友人が当時の三角公園周辺のスケーターを撮影してくれてたんです。それで溜まった素材を使って友人のパソコンで編集してVHS媒体で作品を出したんですけど、それがめちゃくちゃ楽しい作業だったので、それがきっかけで映像を自分で撮影したいと思いました。 - DAL 52歳記念動画の裏話：
裏かどうかわからないんですけど、あの日DALくんはオーリーチャレンジにも関わらず、数時間の撮影で一度もテールを叩くことなく散っていきました。あと、いじめみたいなコメントもあったんですけど、無理やり周りがやらせているのではなく、DALくん本人がやりたいと言って1ヵ月前くらい前から連絡があって、それで撮影編集したので、そこは誤解ないようにお願いします（笑）。 - 最近の三角公園事情：

元々Riskの小山さんにつけてもらったあだ名なんですけど、清水生まれということで、清水次郎長かハマジのどちらかでハマジになったのを覚えています。今思えば次郎長ではなくハマジでよかったです。危なかった（笑）。 - 現在の大阪ストリート事情：

I don't know if it's behind the scenes or not, but that day, despite his ollie challenge, DAL ended without hitting his tail in the few hours of filming. Also, some people commented that it looked like bullying, but it wasn't like we were forcing him to do it, he wanted to do it himself and contacted us about a month in advance, and that's how we filmed and edited it, so please don't misunderstand (laughs). - The latest situation at Triangle Park:

In the early 2000s, I was hanging out with a friend who was a videographer, and he was filming skaters around Triangle Park at the time. I used the material I'd accumulated and edited it on his computer and put it out on VHS media, which was a lot of fun work, and that's when I decided I wanted to film myself. - About the nickname HAMAJI:
It was originally given to me by Oyama-san at RISK. I was born in Shimizu, so it was either Shimizu Jirocho or Hamaji, and I became Hamaji. Looking back, I'm glad it was Hamaji and not Jirocho. Thank god (laughs). - Favorite Chibi Maruko Chan character:

I don't know if it's the Osaka street situation, but there are quite a few skaters living in the area where I live, and I can often hear them pushing at night. I sometimes wonder if I could make a video with just the skaters in the neighbourhood. But I really do see a lot of skaters on the streets. - Best video work you have made so far:
