シキ・ロドリゲス！ - 息子の名前の由来：
育った町のすぐそばに「Shiki」という名前のレストランがあって、その名前がずっと好きだった。息子の名前を考えているとき、妻にその意味を聞いたら「四季」と言われてさらに気に入った。最終的にその名前を選んだわけだけど、その名前を持つ人が他にいないのが最高。息子と同じくユニークな名前。 - Sticks & Stonesのコンセプト：
やりたいことを誰にも止められずにやりたいだけ。Sticks & Stonesはオレがオーナーだった最初の14年間の5Boroのようなもの。やりたいことは何でもできるし、誰にも何も言われない。アーティストや仲間とグラフィックを作るのも好きだし、ニューヨークの新進気鋭のスケーターをサポートするのも好きだ。 - 危機一髪：

That smile and that energy. Skating some crazy spot on the side of the road in Japan that was a huge quarter pipe that was like 3 feet off the ground. He just jumped out of the van, ran up to it, threw his board down and then kick flipped to fake on it and then switch 180’d off of it. - Best trick witnessed at the Brooklyn Banks:
Damn, too many but a couple that come to mind is Steven Cales nollie frontside flipping on the big banks (popped it probably 3 feet high). Mike V olliing the wall / fence at the small banks, John Hoisington doing about 15 tricks on the rail on the 9-stair in one session. - Favorite Japanese word:

Ever? Brooklyn Banks. Now? any place where the vibe is right. Could be a parking block but with the right crew it’s the best spot. But if I think about it the best spot is the space between the spots as that is where the never ending energy of NYC is. - Favorite borough:

There was a restaurant right by the town I grew up in named Shiki and I always liked that name. When we were thinking about names I asked my wife what it meant and she said, “four seasons” that made me like it even better. It made it to the final names and I liked that no one had that name. It’s unique just like him. - The concept behind Sticks & Stones:
I just want to do things that I want to do without anyone telling me no. With Sticks and Stones it’s like 5boro was for the first 14 years when I was the sole owner. I can do anything I want and no one can say anything. I love working with artists / friends on graphics and love supporting up and coming skaters in NYC. - Things you look forward to every time you visit Japan:
